In The Winter Hours is an animation drawn and directed by Edwina Ashton.
I have worked with Edwina Ashton on several projects, planning and animating short films. I cut out, rig and animate her drawings as well as provide technical and creative assistance in bringing a project from initial idea to finished film.
In The Winter Hours was on show at Whitechapel Gallery in London from 26th April - 14th August.

While studying at the National Film and Television School I began working with artist Edwina Ashton, who had been commissioned to produce an animation for Animate Projects.
Since graduating, I have continued to work with her as well as on my own animations and other freelance projects.
I became interested in 3D animation and CGI while at The Glasgow School of Art, studying Sculpture & Environmental Art. My degree show piece featured an installation and 3D animation using camera tracking for compositing into live action footage.
I went on to study Visual Effects and Special Effects at the Nation Film and Television School, where I improved my skills and learnt to use a wide variety of software.
